The Whole Time (an excerpt from The Whole Thing)

Here is an excerpt from my upcoming book: The Whole Thing.

In the wilderness, God provided bread for the wandering Israelites. That bread was called “Manna,” which means “what is it?” When the bread came down from heaven, they said “what is it?” So they named it “what is it?”
Well, what is it?

Rabbi Jesus said: “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” [John 6.41]

Jesus claimed that when the Israelites were waiting in the wilderness, and finally saw something that was tangible for faith, it was him.

If He was in the wilderness in the form of bread from heaven, then Jesus existed before his own birth.

Jesus existed before the baby was born in Bethlehem.

God has been with us the whole time.
